One of the things I love about Modular Devices is our team and the passion that they have for their work. Of course, we all enjoy both working hard and playing hard, but in our business when someone needs Mobile Cath Labs we need to be ready to spring to action and perform each and every time. Our customers count on us, and that’s when our team really shines. From the first contact with a customer through planning, delivery and implementation, our goal is to deliver a great customer experience every time.A great example of our “team” approach was is a recent Mobile Cath Labs project at Valley Baptist Hospital in Harlingen, TX. Parker McDonald was the Cath Lab Director and she, along with all the others at Valley Baptist, were a real pleasure to work with. Parker had some really nice things to say about her experience working with our team and, well, rather than edit it I thought I would simply let her words speak for themselves:“We choose Modular Devices after having a bad experience with the initial company we had chosen to provide a mobile cath lab. They backed out a few days before the mobile lab was to be delivered, which affected our entire mobile and construction timeline! After doing some digging and asking around, Modular Devices Inc. was the company recommended by everyone and once we started working with them we could see why.
They do what they say they are going to do. Along with lots of attention to detail and their willingness to think outside of the box, they even ensured I was able to take our monitoring equipment, computers, faxes, etc. out to the lab. This made “living in the mobile” as seamless as humanly possible.
We needed a mobile solution that perfectly mirrored our current set up with a GE Innova 3100 system, and a MacLab monitoring system. We needed a unit that could provide for appropriate data hookups and had a reasonable amount of storage space. We wanted our doctors, patients, and staff to have a seamless experience and not feel like we were lowering the quality of our care; it was simply a cath lab room in a different location.
The other company said they would provide brand X, but when they realized they had double-booked their unit, thought it was perfectly fine to offer me a very old version of a GE X-ray system. They felt like they were meeting our customer expectations and this was truly not the case.
Modular Devices Inc. definitely came to the table with professionalism right from the beginning, met with us and set full disclosure expectations quickly about exactly what we would be receiving and when. They provided pictures and schematics (which I couldn’t seem to get from the other company) and spoke with me on the phone multiple times. When the unit was delivered their field engineer Jake helped to train my staff on the mobile unit. He made sure we had everything we needed and responded to phone calls 24/7 regarding any questions we had.
At one point, we did experience a humidity issue in the mobile lab and they communicated with our service folks immediately and helped resolve the issue. They met our expectations in every way, and I highly recommend their use. Undergoing a major construction project while maintaining service can be disruptive and stressful. Modular Devices made it easy.“Learning about your specific project challenges, planning the best possible solutions and timelines, and providing exceptional customer service; that’s how the Modular Devices team makes it easy.
